Draw II Character Room
I'm not a big fan of posting things not completely original aka the assignment for Draw II which was to invent a room/office/place for an already existing character; but nevertheless, for the sake of documenting my work and personal growth, here it is.
This was actually one of the first ever serious works I've done through digital painting. I've dabbled here and there with digital paint and I've done test projects. I have to say I am pretty happy on how this turned out.

Clothed Figure Final
Our Assignment was to study the figure with clothes and create a narrative out of it by pushing the pose , developing a background, and props. Anything to drive a story forward.
Character Back Story:This modern day young mid twenties man has just been hired as the new bellhop for a luxurious hotel in Miami Beach. It is a busy morning and many guests arrive at the same time and leave our bellhop hero with all the heavy luggage to carry. It’s no problem for the bellhop, however, he can take the elevator and finish the job in no time.
Pressing the elevator button, our favorite employee senses something funny about the situation: the elevator button is not lighting up and the elevator is taking far too long to arrive. As he looks around he sees his fellow hotel workers looking at him with a grin on their face. The old tall waiter with heavy brows points his skinny finger to the good old flight of never-ending stairs next to the elevator.
Now it’s time for the “new guy” to prove himself worthy and gain acceptance among his fellow hotel employees.
